Actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan’s plans to host a three-city music release for his magnum opus ‘Vishwaroopam’ have fallen prey to Cyclone Nilam, which has struck the southern coastal regions.
As way2movies reported viewers earlier, Kamal had planned a simultaneous three-city music launch for Vishwaroopam, on his birthday November 7. But the plans are said to have been now altered, and Kamal Haasan calls Nilam a ‘spoilsport’. Earlier, the event was to unfold in huge open-air theatres simultaneously in Chennai, Coimbatore and Madhurai.
“Nilam has restricted our plans severely. Because of her, we can’t have the music launch in open-air stadiums, as planned. That would mean a very wet and soggy attendance. We have to now arrange the music function in covered areas. The attendance would have to be seriously scaled down from the original 15,000 people at each venue,” said Kamal.
“Nilam is such a spoilsport. Such is life – man proposes, woman disposes,” quipped Kamal.
