Amaidhi Padai (1994) is a Tamil film directed by Manivannan. Satyaraj did a leading role in this movie. The story revolves around how the poor man built his political career through short routes. Satyaraj did a dual role as father and son. This film is touted as one of Satyaraj’s best performance till date. As of 2012, the film’s sequel, Amaidhi Padai 2: Nagaraja Chozhan MA, MLA, is under production.
